Thought I'd try a different subject and give it more of a flow. The initial idea was good, but the execution lacking. It ended up looking more like a subject for a colouring book, which I must admit was fun to colour in. That I had to use pencil crayons rather than water colour could have a lot to do with it and I wish now that I had just kept it to black and white as it was interesting as a pen drawing.
It's time to buy a new sketchbook that will take watercolour.....
Perhaps take the line drawing into the computer with a bit of photoshop and see what happens....
